No doubt that Breckenridge can be considered the perfect summer mountain resort. Most visitors would say the same about the winter, too. With the combination of its silver mining resume, historic downtown, on-mountain action, artistic feel and a deep appreciation for the outdoors, Breck offers something for anybody. Take a few moments to review the resort's new EPIC Discovery activities. It includes activities such as tubing, alpine slide, obstacle course, mountain roller coaster, ziplines, climbing walls, miniature golf, and more.
Breckenridge EPIC Discovery - A Summer Mountain Adventure
| Epic Discovery is opening on June 14. Discover a side of the mountain you`ve never seen, an experience revealed but once a year. It`s an uncharted season, where roaming through treetops, riding the horizon, and stretching the bounds of nature allow you to reach your peak. Epic Discovery will be open 7 days a week from June 14 - Sept 2, then open Friday-Sunday during Sept 6 - 8. Parking All Epic Discovery Parking is located in the North Gondola Lot. This lot is now operated by Breck Park. You can park here and pay with a credit card using either an onsite kiosk or their smartphone app. There is no parking located at the Peak 8 base area, all parking is in town. Breckenridge Alpine Slide
| The Breckenridge Alpine Slide has been thrilling riders for decades. Jump on a ski lift to the top of the track, and control your own speed as you whip around the turns to the bottom. Located in the Summer Fun Park along with other summer activities. Try the 2,600 ft Alpine Slide or the new 2,500 ft Gold Runner Coaster. There are one seater and two seater cars available for ages 7 and over and ages 3 to 6 must ride with an adult. Younger than 3 are not allowed on this attraction. | |

Breckenridge Scenic Chairlift

Breckenridge Mountain Coaster
| Shoot down the mountains at Breckenridge Resort of the new Mountain Coaster. This raised track takes thrill seakers on a fast and windy track and will leave thrill seakers satisfied every time. Manage your own speed as you coast down the mountain on almost 3,000 fee of raceway. Riding Requirements: Riders must be 54" to ride alone. For ride alongs, riders must be at least 38-53" tall and weigh at least 45lbs (Ride along drivers must be at least 16 years of age). Adults may ride together as long as the driver is a head taller than the front passenger and the total weight is no more than 350 lbs. |

BreckConnect Gondola
The BreckConnect Gondola offers access to the Breckenridge ski resort from downtown historic Breckenridge Resort. The BreckConnect can accomodate eight people and covers almost 400 feet of elevation and 7,500 feet in around 12 minutes.
The gondola closes September 9th and will reopen for ski season as early as November 1. |
