Responsibilities

  • Execute and improve upon Gondola Resorts’ strategy for vacation rental promotions, pricing & competitive intelligence through management of our online partners including Expedia, VRBO, Airbnb, Booking.com and more.
  • Learn, upgrade and automate various pricing initiatives within Gondola Resorts, partnering with the Manager of Customer Service
  • Manage, update and take responsibility for all Pricing & Promotions related strategies in our LiveRez system

Job Description
The perfect candidate for this position has been in human resources for a reputable company in hospitality, a trainer in the vacation rental industry, hotel industry or similar for at least 3-years.  They are versed in human resources, sales training, customer service and is an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for educating people to be their very best.  We support travelers 7 days a week and this position requires flexibility. Our hours are 8 am - 5 pm, 7 days a week, and holidays. You will work 5 days per week from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver traditional, nontraditional, interactive and multimedia learning solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Provide facilitated training to develop fundamental sales skills such as handling phone calls, responding via email, Objection Handling, Prospecting strategies, and Time management. 
  • Draw from a diverse background of design and learning techniques to define and sequence content and strategies to optimize learning experiences

Travel Advisor - Reservation Sales

The Job
You will be responsible for fielding a high volume of traveler inquiries and providing our customers with an unparalleled booking experience. You will serve as a persuasive consultant for prospective renters; helping them find the vacation rental that best matches their needs.

The perfect candidate for this position is comfortable with high volume phone sales, is an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for stunning customers with great service, and a desire to overachieve individual and team goals. We support travelers 7 days a week and this position requires flexibility. Our hours are 8 am - 5 pm, 7 days a week, and holidays. You will work 3-4 days per week that can vary in start and end time, but it will include a minimum of one weekend day work.

Responsibilities

  • Lightning-fast response to a high volume of traveler booking inquiries via phone and email

  • Convert inquiries over the phone by utilizing your sales skills - we love one call closes!

  • Work across multiple booking platforms and can dexterously move between operating systems

  • Meet and exceed individual and team goals

  • Manage lead follow-up using our relationship management software (CRM)

Group Sales Rep

Job Description

Manager is responsible for generating group revenue in across eight lines of business at our resort. Primary responsibilities include solicitation, evaluation and contracting group business in addition to conducting site inspections for potential business opportunities. Ensure proper and timely turnover to ensure for quality service delivery. The position is responsible for achieving revenue and room night goals across the resort. Work with the sales team to maximize the revenue potential of the property by effectively utilizing the meeting space and up selling each business opportunity. Drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Solicit, close and contract group business using strong negotiating skills and creative selling techniques.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, Tradeshows, etc

  • Develop relationships within the meetings and conventions community to expand customer base for future group business opportunities

  • Work collaboratively with National Sales Office and Regional team to ensure the property needs are being achieved and the sales efforts are complementary

  • Partner with the operations team to conduct site inspections that focus on the customer’s needs and highlight the key features of the property.

  • Understand the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc. and know how to sell against them

  • Provide accurate, complete and timely turnover of definite business to the Service Team to help ensure quality service delivery

  • Experience building or enhancing reports and analysis
  • Experience working with pricing strategies in the hotel or vacation rental industry strongly preferred
  • Modeling techniques and methods
  • Takes responsibility for results, “owning” assignments and projects.
