Here, they meticulously hand-carve massive 25-ton blocks of snow into intricate and colossal works of art. Participants rely solely on hand tools, ingenuity, and inspiration, as power tools are strictly prohibited. Over the course of five days, totaling approximately 94 hours, teams devote countless hours to their creations, resulting in a temporary outdoor art gallery gracing the historic downtown of Breckenridge.
