Beaver Creek Opening Ski Weekend

Beaver Creek Birds of Prey World Cup
| November 29 Beaver Creek Mountain comes alive with the Birds of Prey Ski World Cup the last week of November every year. It brings the best downhill skiers in the world to one location for one week of racing. Events include the Super G, Men`s Giant Slalom, and Downhill competitions. The Birds of Prey course was built in 1997 in preparation for the 1999 World Alpine Ski Championships. The first competition on Birds of Prey took place in 1997. Beaver Creek Winter Culinary Weekend
| January 24 Beaver Creek`s Winter Culinary Weekend delivers an assortment of experiences. Guests enjoy culinary events, high-alpine outdoor adventures with a combination of music and celectrity guest chefs from around the world. Sign up early because this event sells out quick. You will snowshoe through gorgeqous McCoy Park, then indulge yourself at a perfectly-paired gourmet lunch afterwards. Kick back in your ski boots and enjoy a unique apres affair in the Village. Beaver Creek Talons Challenge
| February 22 The Beaver Creek Resort annual Talons Challenge is a great winter event that brings together groups of people that like to conquer Beaver Creek`s most challenging ski runs, and ski over 26,000 vertical feet all in one day. Are you or your group of friends up for the task? Visit Beaver Creek to complete 14 black and double black diamond ski runs. Celebrate your accomplishment with the official event party at Talon`s restaurant. This year, after the lifts close the party will extend into the Beaver Creek village with music, food and drinks. | |
