Snowmass Dog Sledding

Snowmass Dog Sledding

Experience the excitement of speeding through a Colorado forest, relaxing on a sled that`s being pulled by a team of dogs. Taking a dog sledding excursion in Aspen Snowmass is a chance to experience a unique sport that dates back centuries. You`ll meet the racers and the dogs themselves and learn what it`s like to twist and turn through the forest with your own dog team. Each sled carries two adults and a small child and is pulled by 8 sled dogs and are guided by an experienced musher. Each dog is born and bred to pull a sled, and they live for the excitement of the Snowmass back country just as much as you will.

The Elk Camp Gondola takes visitors up to a scenic recreation area year-round. In the winter, visitors can sample the fresh gourmet cuisine of the Elk Camp Restaurant or set out on snowshoes. On Fridays in the winter months, Elk Camp is home to Ullr Nights with tubing, a bonfire, fire dancers, snow bikes, dinner, and more.

Snowmass Tubing

Snowmass Tubing

Snowmass Resort is excited to offer winter tubing at The Meadows Elk Camp, with evening operations added to the daily schedule. Tubing at Snowmass opens on December 22 and will be open every day until April 8 or in conjunction with the winter ski lift schedule. Tubing lanes can also be rented for birthdays, parties, corporate events and more. Activities Passes are nonrefundable within 48 hours of purchase.

Daily Pass: $49 per person, all ages.
