Q: Do I get to choose the exact home I will be staying in?
A: Yes, with Gondola Resorts, the properties you see on the website are the specific ones you will stay in. We feel this is best way to ensure your complete satisfaction with the home.
Q: How do I check in to the home?
A: 24 hours after your reservation is confirmed you will be sent all pertinent information regarding your accomodations which includes where to pickup your keys.
Q: How close are we to the ski area?
A: All our ski properties are in resort communities designed for vacation use and are located either on the ski mountain (ski-in ski-out), walking distance, or a short 5-10 minute shuttle ride to the Resort's skier dropoff area. We also have homes on golf courses and lakes.
Q: Are there restaurants and shopping near the homes?
A: Yes, shopping and restaurants are located close to all of our vacation rentals. You will also have a choice of restaurants that deliver to the condos.
Q: Do I need to clean the home?
A: No, You are our guest, and all the homes are professionally cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival. There is a mop, vacuum, broom, washing machine/dryer (select units), dishwasher and dust pan in the home in case of a need to do a quick touch on your stay. If you would like a mid-week or daily maid service please call our concierge staff for details.
Q: Do I need to bring towels and linens to the home?
A: We provide you with the linens and towels. Each home has two sets of linens for each bed and ample towels. You may wish to bring beach towels if you are taking a day trip to the beach.
Q: Are the condos non-smoking?
A: Yes, all are non-smoking which is strictly enforced. Guests are permitted to smoke on the patio area outside at some properties.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Pets are not allowed unless specified on the individual listing. Call for availability.
Q: What do we need to do at check out time?
A: We just ask that you lock up, and place the keys on the kitchen table. Our staff will take care of the rest.
Q: If I have a problem with the home what do I do?
A: We are always here to insure you have a wonderful stay with us. We have a toll free 24- hour emergency number to call us in the very rare event you need us right away. This is why more and more people are choosing to stay in a vacation rental home while in Keystone. You have the privacy and luxury of a home with the service and amenities of a resort.
Q: How do I know I'm getting a good unit?
A: Gondola Resorts provides very detailed photos, maps, room inventory, information and guest book comments about the actual unit you will be renting. Rent from others, and you may get the next condo on the list. Want to make sure you’re getting a good unit, see it online with complete photos.
Q: What’s included?
A: Our condos come fully furnished with everything from a Microwave, two or more TV’s, a VCR, a DVD player, linens and towels, dishes, pots and pans (right down to the corkscrew) and hair dryers. We sweat the details and start you out with supplies like shampoo, conditioner, Kleenex, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, soaps, trash bags, etc. We provide everything you expect from a fine hotel.
Our TV's are on the resort cable system and have over 50 channels including HBO and Disney Channel. Local and 1-800 number calls are free and there is free high speed internet (wired and wireless) in MOST units. Condos and Town homes also come with free parking for one vehicle close to your condo and free parking for additional vehicles in other lots within the resort. Homes have parking for 2 in a garage, and parking for up to two more vehicles in the driveway.Most units also include a ski locker (usually on the ground floor) so you don't need to take up condo space with all your heavy, bulky and wet skis, boards etc.Many SkyRun units also contain upgrades like Video Games, home theaters, CD stereos, etc. One unit even has a full electronic keyboard! Q: Am I going to get a good deal?
A: Our rates are generally 10% lower than the web price for a similar unit available from others. In addition, we also give you locals-only tips on where to get a great deal on lift tickets and rentals.
Q: What is travel insurance for?
A: Gondola Resorts (and all condos at the resorts) are typically non-refundable for any reason including death in the family, injury, or simply the inability to get here due to closed roads or airports. Travel insurance insures you against anything other than simply a change of mind and will provide you a refund for travel delays, needing to leave early, or not being able to get here at all. If you buy travel insurance with your condo, the amount of the condo can be claimed from the insurance company.
For 6.95% extra, a travel insurance policy from CSA will protect your entire partys' vacation investment if you are forced to cancel, interrupt, or delay your trip due to weather, illnes, injury, or any other covered reason. This policy also includes very important baggage and medical protection.

Q: How do I rent a unit? What are the deposit and payment terms?
A: You can rent any of our condos by booking directly with an agent at 888-295-2468.
When you book, 50%is charged as a non-refundable deposit when you book your unit because you are holding a specific room that other people will be unable to book after you hold it. 45 days before your arrival, the remainder of your rent is due and becomes non-refundable if you need to cancel for any reason (see travel insurance above for exceptions!). We will charge the credit card we have on file automatically for your remainder.
You have 24 hours after booking to cancel without penalty. Afterwards, your full payment is non-refundable.
Q: How do I check in?
A: Gondola Resorts has welcome centers at all of our resort locations. We will send you detailed arrival instructions with maps after you book a reservation. If you will be arriving late (7pm in the winter, 5pm in the summer), we have a lockbox you will be directed to. The combination for the lockbox is in your confirmation letter or call us if you will be late and we'll provide it.
Q: How many people can stay in a unit?
A: Each unit will generally sleep 2 in each bedroom and 2 on a sleeper-sofa in the living room. Many units also have extra beds (trudle, extra double beds, murphy beds, etc). Check each unit for details.
Q: What are the rules?
A: No smoking and no pets are allowed in any of our units, including on the balconies. No house parties where more than the number of people the condo sleeps are in the condo at any time. This is STRICTLY ENFORCED. Quiet time starts at 10:00pm (resort rule).
Q: How is renting from Gondola Resorts different from renting from others?
A: One main difference is the cost. We try to be about 10-20% less than renting the same unit directly from the resort on their web site.
Q: How is renting from Gondola Resorts different from renting directly from the Owner of the Condo?
A: All of the condos and homes that Gondola Resorts represents are owned by private owners. What that means for you is that you have one point of contact that you can trust with your credit card information, and trust to be there for you if and when you need us.
